Yes, while guest purchase is available in order to communicate with the service provide or store owner you would benefit from having an account to facilitate a communication between the two users, this also allows usage of the mobile app (currently under development) and having the seller know to whom should he send the product or curb-side pickup.

Shmapp.ca is not selling anything, all that Shmapp.ca is doing is providing the marketplace in which local shops and service providers can market their own products and services for sale.

Shmapp.ca treasures the information provided and does not retain or even request any of the information that is not necessary for the system to do its magical matchmaking between local shoppers and local businesses.

Shmapp.ca is working with the best security systems available online, any information related to your payment details is never stored on our system, nobody here is able to retrieve them, not even Shmapp.ca employees.

4. How do I create an Shmapp.ca account?

By clicking the login button on the top banner, you would be redirected to the login/register page. Simply choose an email and password and if you are a customer or a vendor, after a quick verification you will have your account set up and be able to fill in further details.

6. Am I billed as soon as I join Shmapp.ca?

No. You are not billed and registration for both shoppers and sellers is free, the only fee that is charged is a percent from a product or sale once it is made.

8. Why should I subscribe newsletter?

Every now and then Shmapp.ca gets creative and delivers new information that helps local businesses and socially responsible buyers by keeping them motivated or maybe a good promotion that is offered to Shmapp.ca and its user base, the bigger the crowd the bigger the reward, by joining you actually increase the buying power for the whole community.
