Convincing And Motivating

Convincing is a lot like motivating, that’s why motivational speakers convince then motivate their audience or guests. They must initially convince them that the methods and techniques they discuss are highly effective and has been used by many individuals to improve more on their efficiency and their way of life. There are also other forms of motivating and convincing used by people everyday either in their work or in their leisure time. Lawyers, doctors, sales representatives, managers, and even employees use some form of motivation to accumulate more clients, to motivate a patient that they can overcome their condition and convincing a jury to cast their verdict to side their client. Find out more about these individuals who use motivating and convincing much like motivational speakers by reading below.

Sales Representatives – These sales reps use convincing as their main tool to sell their products. Like motivational speakers they need to convince their clients that the products they are selling are far better than other brands or other products like it. They need to accumulate sales and thus firing away with their sales talk. But the difference between a motivational speaker and a sales rep is that they are only there to convince a single person to purchase their product while a speaker has to convince a room full of people.

Doctors – A doctor’s main task is to diagnose and treat the patients of their illness and disease. There are times that a doctor must convince their client to get better or overcome their particular diagnosis. They become like motivational speakers convincing their patient that they are fully capable of treating them or healing them of their illness. Also when it comes to serious illness and diagnosis they try and motivate that person to not give up easily, that there are treatments available to cure them of what they have.

Lawyers – When lawyers are in the courtroom defending their client, they need the powers of convincing and motivating in order for the jury to side with them on their case. Much like motivational speaker they motivate the jury to cast their verdict to their desired decision. Convincing a jury is one painstaking process, they need to find grounds in which they must truly convince them that the points they are stating are all true and that they are convincing. They emphasize on their major points during their opening and closing statement where the decision is left for the jury to decide. They will be successful once the verdict is sided with them.

Agents – There are different kinds of agents, there are sales agents, booking agents, office agents etc. but the one that is compared with a motivational speaker are sales and booking agents. Sales agents must motivate and convince potential clients and consumers to purchase their products a booking agent on the other hand must entice their clients to choose their services for their needs. An example for this is an agent booking a motivational speaker for a conference located in the next town.
